GHS Parents & Guardians,
Thanks to everyone who attended enrollment over the last two weeks! We are certainly counting down the days until the first day of school. Please read below for a few important announcements.
1.) SAVE THE DATE! Grandview High School will be hosting our Back to School Night on Monday, August 18th from 6:00-8:00 PM. The evening will start promptly at 6:00 with a welcome and introductions in the Auditorium. At 6:20 classrooms will be open and teachers will be available to meet with parents and share about goals for the 2014-15 school year. Parents are invited to visit as many classrooms as they wish. The evening will end at 8:00 PM.
2.) Laptop deployment is coming soon. In order to facilitate this process, the initial deadline to pay the annual user fee and turn in a signed laptop agreement will be Friday, August 15th. Remember, the user fee is $20, $30, or $50 based upon eligibility in the Federal Child Nutrition Program. The deadline to purchase insurance for the laptops will be three weeks later on Friday, September 5th. This insurance costs $80 for the school-year and will cover accidental damage, loss, and theft.
