Dear Early Childhood Families:

I am pleased and excited to welcome you to the new High Grove Early Childhood Center!

Our new center includes several different early childhood programs.

• Parents as Teachers will serve families with children ages prenatal to kindergarten entry through personalized home visits and group meetings.
  
  
• Our Title I Pre-K program provides classroom experiences for those children who are preparing to enter kindergarten in 2010-2011.   
• The Early Childhood Special Education classes will serve three, four, and five year old children. 
  
  

•  A new addition to C-4’s early childhood programming is Head Start.  Two Head Start classrooms will provide early learning opportunities for three, four, and five year olds.

Additionally, High Grove Early Childhood Center staff includes speech and language pathologists and therapists who provide occupational and physical therapy.

Enrollment for Title I and Early Childhood Special Education will be on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  For information on Head Start enrollment, please call 816-521-5432.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the maintenance and custodial staff of the district who have worked particularly hard to make sure our building is clean and safe for everyone.
