Who are we?
The Grandview C-4 Communications Department is responsible for maintaining effective internal and external communications within the Grandview C-4 School District. Our goal is to provide parents, community members, staff and the news media clear, timely and accurate information about GC-4 news, events, issues and plans. The communications staff coordinates media news coverage, public and media relations, event planning, promotions, crisis communications, staff interviews, and responses to requests for information.
Other responsibilities include producing district publications and managing the design and content of the district web site and social media. We also provide communication support to all schools, school related organizations, Board of Education, superintendent and all other district administration and staff.
Grandview C-4 is committed to providing parents and community members with timely, accurate and open communications. Community input (positive or negative) is always welcome and encouraged. Please feel free to contact Lane Lucas, Communications Coordinator, with your comments or suggestions.
How do we communicate?
In addition to news releases, these key methods are used to keep the community informed:
The School Report
A magazine style newsletter mailed to all homes within the district two-three times a year. It contains the latest news about the district, including student and staff achievements, upcoming events and district finance and project updates. Click here to receive the School Report.
GC-4 Web Site
The district web site (www.csd4.k12.mo.us) provides complete school and district news, events and information. It also contains important notices such as school closings, emergencies and district issues.
GC-4 E-News
The GC-4 E-News is a free email newsletter providing the latest district news to all parent/community subscribers on a regular basis. Special editions, containing important notices and news alerts, are also sent as needed. Click here to subscribe.

You can stay informed about the latest GC-4 news and events by joining our community on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS feed, Linkedin and Flickr. You can access GC-4 social media sites on the home page of the district web site.
Interactive Web Calendar
The district interactive web Calendar contains complete district events. It contains separate Calendars for each school and many school related organizations. District Information Packet
